Beep... Beep

Watch out everyone... Austin is on the loose in his car! He loves this little car that Grammy picked up for him last year... $5 well spent! He only knows how to go backwards though, so if anyone is interested in pushing a little boy around the yard for hours I am currently accepting ALL OFFERS! :)

Catching up...

Hello everyone... I'm really sorry for the long time between posts! I promise that we are starting to feel human again around our house and will be getting back on track with more frequent updates. We have had a very busy summer and I can't beleive i'ts August already! Austin is growing like a weed! He has 7 teeth now and is still a great eater. His newest craze is climbing like a monkey... he climbs on everything and has absolutely NO FEAR to jump off... usually head first. Austin still loves his daycare and has a few new friends that are younger than him now so he's not the baby anymore. I hope everyone is enjoying their summers... we are looking forward to more time outside and a few fun getaway's in the next few weeks!

Summertime is so fun! We always start the day clean, but I think you can see why the bath water is pretty dirty by the end of the day! :)

I love the park...

It was so nice to have an early spring this year and Austin LOVES being outside... everything about it, but especially parks. The favorites are swings, slides, and sandboxes! :)

My Little Boy... Is One.

I got to spend all day with my little peanut today on his first birthday... I'm so glad it fell on the weekend so we could hang out together. I just can't believe he is one... time goes so fast and he has grown up in a blink of an eye. Austin is the light of our lives and I just can't imagine the past year without him. Looking forward to the next year and many many many years ahead watching him grow up!

Happy Birthday Baby Boy!

Austin turned one year old today and we had a great weekend of celebrating! Last night we had a PUPPY party complete with pizza, puppy cake pops & cookies, bone jigglers and cheese, meat, and crackers and of course cake & ice cream. Austin was so excited for his party that he decided to skip his afternoon nap, mommy was very nervous that Austin would fall asleep and miss the whole party, but Austin was a trooper and was such a good boy all night. He loved playing with everyone and really had fun with his cake... he wasn't sure at first, but once he got a taste of mommy's yummy cake, he was all over it! Austin is one lucky little boy and he loaded out on presents. Thank you so much everyone for coming and helping us celebrate this happy day!

Eleven Months

Walk, Walk, Walk... that is what Austin has been up to this month! He took a few steps on January 20th and hasn't stopped since... he can darn near run now and is so proud of himself when he walks across the room to you! He's growing like a weed and still such a GOOD BOY... we couldn't ask for a happier little guy :)

New Tricks...

Austin has been learning, learning, learning these days! Some of his new tricks are clapping, dancing, giving five's, and he has actually taken a few steps this past week! We're starting to think about a first birthday party already... how can that be right?!? :)

Austin's 1st Christmas

Well, Austin must have been a VERY good boy this year! He had an awesome first Christmas and got spoiled by everyone! He actually liked opening his presents and loved what was inside too! We had to upgrade to a bigger toy box and eliminate some of his "baby" toys when we got home though. Santa made a visit and Austin did pretty good with him for a while, we were sorry that uncle Mike missed it, he went looking for Santa and by the time he got back he had come and gone already ;). Having a child around at Christmas time made it even more special, I am sure by next Christmas he'll be a pro and be even more into it!

Grandma G. started a tradition last year for the kids to make Christmas cookies with her, I remember being pregnant at that time wondering what it would be like with a baby helping. It was so much fun, Austin was right in there helping and made a very yummy cookie for daddy! I just can't beleive how fast my baby is growing up!Colin had bought this dancing/singing snowman for me a few years ago... Austin thought it was pretty fun... he dances along with it and loves the little snowman that comes out of the box!
